Geomembranes

The geomembranes we offer are made of a plastic with a very low permeability. These are mainly PVC, HDPE and EPDM. These products are used mainly as a sealing barrier. They interact directly with the ground by securing it against the migration of liquids. The material of the geomembrane must ensure the lowest possible permeability of liquids and gases while retaining its resistance to the media it insulates. Another requirement is high tear strength with a simultaneous large relative elongation. With the materials that retain their mechanical properties we can manufacture products for long-term use, and thus – for effective securing of the land.

The geomembranes are available in the lengths between 0.50 and 2.50mm, they have one-sided or two-sided texture, they are also available as a flat material, without any protrusions. The sheets are connected by welding or bonding. The right technique is chosen specifically for the place where the geomembrane is to be used and the specification of its use.

Our offer includes various geomembranes. They are made of plastics, with excellent plasticity and resistance to mechanical factors. We can provide our customers with products made of EPDM, HDPE and PVC.

First type – using synthetic rubber (EPDM) – with it we build a geomembrane with a very high degree of elasticity and high resistance to the changing atmospheric factors. For this reason this type of protection is designed mostly for the works that are supposed to strengthen water reservoirs. The elasticity of the synthetic rubber will enable the protection to be adjusted to non-standard and complicated shapes of the reservoirs. We would like to emphasize that in order to prolong the durability of this solution, you should also use our non-woven geotextile fabric, which will help protect the geomembrane against mechanical damage.

The second and the third type of geomembrane available in our offer are articles made of PVC and HDPE, i.e. polyvinyl chloride or polyethylene. The distinctive feature of both materials is a very high level of density, which makes them suitable for various works – starting with the sealing of the reservoir, through building separation layers, up to drainage. Due to the specifics of the production material, these geomembrane models are dedicated to sealing and separating. The individual modules are connected with each other by bonding, thanks to which the connection is permanent. Please, remember that the choice of thickness depends on the application and the specifics of the soil. It is necessary to take into account such factors as the liquid pressure or the intensity of the impact of mechanical factors (threat of mechanical damage of the protective layer).
